Traffic Signal Maintenance
Just as Traffic Signals require special skills and equipment, so does maintaining them. If you need a firm to help maintain this equipment after we have built it or if you need someone to take care of a system that is already installed you can rely on us. Our technical staff is well trained and they continually keep their skills fresh. Since all our foremen have pagers, 2-way radios and cellular phones, we can send them to location within moments in case of an emergency.

Currently we maintain Traffic Signals in excess of 28 Municipalities and Government Agencies. Signals maintained is in excess of 1000 signals.

Traffic Relamp / Cleaning
Relamping of Traffic Signals is an important part of proper Signal Maintenance. Cobra Electric can provide you with a complete maintenance schedule program that covers all the basic duties required to do a proper relamp. Cobra Electric is committed to quality maintenance by thoroughly relamping, inspecting and tightening of Traffic heads. Any deficiencies found during the relamping of the intersection are noted and reported to the appropriate persons. One area of Traffic Relamp that is becoming more of a safety concern is the safety of the public. Because of Cobra's commitment to safety, all of our employees are trained in proper procedures for lane closures and flagging control.

Traffic Loops
Cobra Electric has fully trained crews with properly equipped Loop Installation Vehicles complete with Target Saws, water tanks, compressors, tar kettles, protective equipment and traffic control devices. We also have a Circular Loop Saw for installations at any site required. All installations are done with quality and efficiency in mind to ensure long loop operation. Since we have been installing loops for over 19 years, we are capable to respond to any need that may arise from complete loop installations for Traffic Signals to emergency installations for Counting/Classification Stations province wide. We can install circle, diamond, and rectangular or square loops at any location desired. Our crews are also concerned for the environment and take care in protecting it by sand bagging and screening all nearby catch basins.

Traffic Counting
With a growing province, it is important to see how much traffic is moving on our roads. To assist municipalities with this Cobra Electric is capable and collection services. We have fully trained technicians with years of experience province wide in counting and classification stations. Currently we have the capability of loop or hose counting and data collection.

Traffic Parts
Cobra Electric can provide you with a variety of traffic parts to complete your job. We have a stocked warehouse complete with traffic heads, lenses, lamps, LEDs, and mounting brackets. Any parts that we don't have, we can specially order for you through our suppliers using our purchasing power to keep costs to a minimum. Please contact our Purchasing Department for more details.

Street Lighting Installations
We are able to install your complete Street Lighting system in a very quick and cost efficient way. Cobra Electric can provide you with complete directional drilled street light conduits and bases installed into the ground at a competitive price. We can supply all the poles, luminaries and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete a high quality job in a short amount of time. Our crews are trained in recognized procedures for traffic control and 30M33 pole installations.

Street Lighting Maintenance
Maintaining the lighting of the roadways in any area is a concern for everybody. Cobra Electric can meet this concern by providing quality maintenance of any type of roadway lighting. We can respond to outages in various locations in responsive times and repair them to ensure proper illumination. If a street lighting pole or base requires to be replaced we can remove, repair, and re-install any lamp standard quickly to keep light in the area. We can troubleshoot your street lighting system and locate the break using our highly effective equipment such as an M-Scope. Upon finding the problem we can repair existing conduit caused by damage or even install new underground conduit with wiring if damaged beyond repair. We have completed the group relamping of streetlights for several Municipalities and Government Agencies. Cobra Electric has fully trained crews capable of recognizing safety hazards in the fields and can respond in appropriate manners. Street Light Parts
Cobra Electric can provide quality new street light parts at competitive prices. Our Warehouse has a constant stock of lamps, luminaries, fuse holders, fuses, poles and conduit available for sale. Giraffe Rentals
Cobra Electric can provide you with all your high reach needs. We currently have bucket trucks that range in working heights up to sixty feet high. All vehicles are certified yearly by a licensed inspection facility to ensure the safety of the persons and equipment. Each vehicle has high visibility warning lights, coed, and reflective devices to warn others. Our high reach bucket truck is equipped with a two-person bucket. All rentals include a fully trained driver and operator with an approved safety harness for bucket occupant. Please contact our Project Coordinator for more details.

Pole Painting
Providing quality-painting services to Municipalities throughout the Lower Mainland has allowed us to be capable of responding to any size project. In painting of streetlights, trained crews remove unauthorized signs, any rust on the poles, dig out around all bases and ensure a good coat of paint dries to protect the poles from environmental elements.

Aerial Banners
Do you have a special banner to be put up and no one to put it up for you? Through years of experience hanging banners from street light poles, Cobra Electric can get the job done for you. If you require, we can even provide mounting hardware for an easy and safe installation by experienced crews.

Parking Lot Lighting
Whether you want to repair lights out or convert to more energy efficient lighting system, Cobra Electric can help. We can service and maintain your lights to sustain suitable levels of illumination of the ground below. If you require a higher wattage fixture to accomplish this, we can supply and install quality products with qualified crews.
